Editorial Policy
ActuMedic publishes educational content about emergency medical services, prehospital medicine and health topics with a focus on clarity, practical usefulness and responsible sourcing.
Original content
Articles are created specifically for ActuMedic. We do not aim to reproduce third-party articles. When external guidance or evidence is used, it is summarized in our own words and linked to the original source where appropriate.
Source hierarchy
We prioritize recognized public-health agencies, professional medical organizations, national EMS bodies, clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed research. Examples include WHO, CDC, NIH, NHS, NICE, American Heart Association, Resuscitation Council UK, National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and relevant specialty societies.
Medical and EMS accuracy
We distinguish between educational information and jurisdiction-specific clinical practice. EMS scope, medication protocols and procedures vary by country, state, region and medical director. Articles that discuss professional practice remind readers to follow local protocols and scope of practice.
Updates
Content may be revised when guidance changes, new evidence becomes important, a factual issue is identified or an article needs clearer context. Where useful, the page displays an updated date.
Corrections
If we identify a material factual error, we correct it as soon as reasonably possible. Readers can contact Actuambu if they believe an article contains an error or requires clarification.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader usefulness and accuracy. Advertising does not determine the conclusions, clinical emphasis or recommendations of an article.
